HOME OFFICE POLICY

BTI Technology & Intelligence's Home Office Policy aims to establish principles, responsibilities, and conditions that guide the performance of professional activities outside the company's physical environment, ensuring service continuity, quality delivery, and employee well-being. This policy reflects the institutional commitment to flexibility, innovation, and mutual trust between managers and teams, recognizing that home office is a legitimate and strategic practice for organizational and individual development.

For BTI Technology & Intelligence, home office means the ability for employees to perform their duties in a location other than the office, using technological resources that ensure communication, information security, and efficient task execution. This approach is not merely an operational alternative, but represents a work method focused on autonomy, responsibility, and the delivery of results. In an environment where geospatial data analysis, the creation of thematic maps, and the development of geotechnology-based solutions require high levels of concentration and precision, home office is seen as a tool that promotes productivity and work-life balance.

Employees working remotely must maintain the same standards of conduct, performance, and commitment observed in on-site activities. Each employee is expected to ensure a suitable and peaceful work environment, with sufficient infrastructure to perform their duties, including stable internet access, up-to-date equipment, and adequate ergonomic conditions. Furthermore, time management and constant communication with the team are essential aspects for the smooth operation of this modality.

BTI Technology & Intelligence is committed to providing ongoing support to remote professionals, fostering a collaborative environment even remotely. Regular meetings, preferably via videoconference, will be held to align tasks, monitor projects, and strengthen interpersonal relationships. Sensitive information must be shared in accordance with internal digital security standards and only use designated corporate platforms. The policy recognizes that trust is the foundation of home office. Performance will be assessed based on goals, deadlines, and quality of deliverables, not on connection time or virtual presence. Flexible schedules are encouraged, if project demands and meeting availability are met. Occasional in-person periods may be requested by company management or project coordinators, depending on the nature of the activities or the need for direct interaction with clients and institutional partners.
